This Privacy Policy describes how JobAce, developed by CoderTec, collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal data of users of the JobAce Android application. By using the application, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Who we are

JobAce is a product of CoderTec, a software development company based in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil. For privacy inquiries, contact us at: suporte@codertec.com.br.

2. Data we collect

To provide the service, we collect and process the following categories of data:

• Resume (PDF): the file uploaded by the user for AI analysis. We extract information such as work experience, academic background, and skills described in the document.
• Simulation responses: the text of answers provided during interview simulations, required to generate personalized feedback.
• Account data: if you register, we may collect a display name and email address.
• Usage data: information about how you use the app (sessions, time spent, features accessed) to improve the experience.
• Device data: device model, operating system version, and anonymous identifiers for diagnostic and stability purposes.

3. How we use your data

• Analyze the uploaded resume and generate personalized interview questions.
• Provide feedback on your answers based on selected criteria (clarity, STAR method, content).
• Generate progress reports and performance tracking.
• Improve the quality and accuracy of the service.
• Communicate important app updates (if you opted in to notifications).
• Display ads in the free version via Google AdMob.

4. Use of third-party artificial intelligence

JobAce uses third-party AI APIs to process resume data and simulation responses. Data sent to these APIs is processed solely to generate questions and feedback and is not used for model training by default.

We recommend not including highly sensitive information in your resume (such as personal document numbers, banking details, or health information beyond what is necessary for the application).

5. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of JobAce displays ads managed by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device data and advertising identifiers to show relevant ads. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy. Premium plan users do not see ads.

6. Data storage

Simulation history is stored locally on your device. When you uninstall the application, this data is automatically removed. Account data (if applicable) is stored on secure servers located in Brazil or in cloud providers with adequate protection.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data:

• With AI service providers for simulation processing (as per item 4).
• With Google AdMob for ad display in the free version (as per item 5).
• When required by law or court order.

8. Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
• Deletion of your personal data.
• Data portability to another service.
• Withdrawal of consent at any time.
• Objection to data processing in certain circumstances.

9. Security

We adopt appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or improper disclosure. Communication between the app and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

10. Children

JobAce is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not intentionally collect data from children. If you are aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes through the application or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
